Niagara Falls Wedding at the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens
The Niagara Falls wedding of Gini and David took place at the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens Willow Pond area; The principal photographer, Anthony Sobie of Diamonds and Caviar Productions, photographed the days events that included a 20 minute ceremony at Willow Pond, a signing of the register and formal pronouncement, with a staged walk (and bride and groom kiss) back down the aisle for extra pictures. Afterwards, we used the same area for the group photo’s, starting with one big group shot of everyone who attended, to smaller groups of each family, friends and the wedding party. I then took the bride and groom from the area and we proceeded to walk around the whole park, stopping at various locations based on background and lighting, to take more formal portraits of the bride and groom. The following pictures we taken by Anthony Sobie of Diamonds and Caviar Productions.
Niagara Parks’ Botanical Gardens is located on the scenic Niagara Parkway, a 10 minute drive form Niagara Falls. Established in 1936, this beautiful garden setting boasts 40 hectares (99 acres) of beautifully maintained gardens, including perennials, rhododendrons, azaleas, formal parterre garden, shade as well as their world-famous rose garden featuring over 2,400 roses. This is an excellent area for your Niagara Falls wedding photography and a place that I am highly familiar with, having shot here many times over the past 10 years. I highly recommend this outdoor photography location for your Niagara Falls wedding photography.
